![]() ![]() ![]() I pull ' em slow, usually around 1.3 mph. It' s the only spinner blade I now use, and highly recommend them they are worth the extra money. I regularly fish Lake Erie for walleyes, and after years of experimenting with various spinner blades I have settled on Baitfish-Image Colorado blades, gold perch color in size 6. Due to the fact they have such a wide swinging pattern, they are best seen by the fish from the front. They spin at the slowest speeds and produce the most thumping and vibration. With plain gold ones I bought elsewhere you can feel and see the blade rotation. The colorado spinner blade is the most popular style of blade for making walleye spinner rigs, crawler harnesses, and live bait rigs. When trolling I don' t even see any vibration on the rod with these. They look beautiful but unfortunately do not have the same spinning as the regular Colorado blades I have purchased before for making my own inline spinners. As a rule of thumb, you want to use 1 oz for every 10 feet of water depth. Excellent quality, wide range of blade sizes and amazing color options. I use various colors and and colored hooks. My Kids and fishing buddies use these religiously and have been very successful many stringers.
